Private premises with a total area of 568 sq. m. in the Moscow Oblast are a vivid example of a classic country house with an interior created by a professional designer and decorator. The project was started when the house had been completely erected and the interior furnishing was in the final phase
The client preferred a neutral color scheme and intended to use it in the interior. However, they were diluted by bright tones then. This enabled to avoid monotony. During the decoration, Olga Kushnareva-Leone achieved a harmonious combination of styles. Besides, the estate began to look like classic-style country houses due to various decoration techniques: complex finish coloring, exquisite painting, textured luxurious wallpapers and natural textile.
A drawing room-dining room has elegant interior. Its brightness is underlined spectacularly by large flowers on the curtains and a good combination of green and red colors in the tapestry. In the master bedroom, the elegance of cream and coffee tones is complemented by the textile of subdued turquois. Neutral single tone curtains balance the eye-catching pattern of wallpapers and create a comfortable environment.
There are three guest bedrooms in the first floor decorated in different styles. In one bedroom, the marine theme prevails. Here, the main element of decoration is a collection of ship models gathered thoroughly by the hosts. The interior of the second room is performed in the Italian country style. Here, the main accent is some “simplicity” underlined by large painting on furniture fronts and patchwork blankets. The third bedroom has a clear-cut French spirit created by wallpapers with the depiction of a grape-vine and the titles of elite wine as well as a semi-transparent linen tissue, which decorates window apertures.
Olga Kushnareva-Leone transformed a classic interior of the country house into a small trip around Europe. Textile and wallpapers are fully in line with the overall atmosphere of the house. During the decoration, they became more expressive due to bright cotton, contrast edgings, traditionally styled lace and wool embroidery.
