Olga Kushnareva-Leone chose a functional and practical contemporary style to create the design of a Moscow apartment with an area of 225.81 sq.m. The apartment belongs to a young family with a child. The planning of the housing is fully in line with modern criteria of comfort: quite an airy kitchen connected to a dining-room by portals, a cozy drawing room, bedrooms with separate sanitary units and dressing rooms, a child room and a small study. The hall zone also contains a toilette room for guests, a common dressing room and a laundry room.
The rooms decorated by Olga look very up-to-date. Classical elements of decoration create the atmosphere of elegance and utmost delicacy. This is the zest of the contemporary style in the interior of this apartment. The brightest element of the hall is a marble floor. It draws attention to the magnificent pattern of a natural material. Functional furniture with many closed boxes is a distinctive feature of the style. It is performed in a pastel color scheme.
Quite a large kitchen with an area of 24.7 sq. m looks very up-to-date and stylish. The textured wood of the ebony tree used to manufacture some of the furniture is quite spectacular against the background of a snow-white dinner group. However, the general tone of the room is cream with grey and blue accents. It gradually passes to a dining room and underlines the compositional unity of the designer’s plot.
Muffled beige tones predominate in the cozy drawing room. The olive and green carpet brings life to a room and draws attention. Olga Kushnareva-Leone made this room as relaxing as possible – comfortable soft couches with a lot of pillows, home cinema and a library enable to feel at ease and enjoy a favorite activity.
Creating the interior of the parents’ bedroom, Olga has shown that contemporary style in the most suitable for such rooms. Here, the combinations of cream and carmine red tones prevail. They are underlined by a stripe of wallpapers with a large flower pattern. The chandelier corresponds to a floral theme too. It looks like an exotic flower that has not yet bloomed. The adjoining bathroom decorated by ceramic tiles with a geometric pattern is performed in the same style.
A study with an area of 17.5 sq. m. is performed in grey and beige tones. Here, the floral theme is continued in the pattern of subtle and quiet wallpapers. Classic-style linen curtains underline the business style of the room and help to concentrate. The floor in most rooms is made of “grey” oak.
A child room is the brightest room. It is decorated by a strap of color wallpapers. Its elements – lilac, pink, and lettuce green – are repeated in other decorative elements. The puff, which imitates a pile of vivid green leaves, is amazing, while the armlets of wardrobes made in the form of roses make the room for a little princess a real fairytale.
