The complete reconstruction of the apartment with a total area of 242 sq. m. in the South-Western part of Moscow is performed by Olga Kushnareva-Leone. The clients asked to transform quite an airy though unimpressive apartment with low ceilings to the example of classic elegancy and modern comfort. First of all, the designer reconsidered planning: a hall was isolated from a kitchen, while a parents’ bedroom, a dressing room and a bathroom were planned as one private block. The laundry and a season dressing room appeared. The study, apart from its original functions, can also be used as a guest room with an adjoining guest sanitary unit.
As for the interior design, Olga Kushnareva used all basic techniques and materials typical for classic interiors. An airy drawing room combined with a dining room is zoned by plaster columns with flutes and ceilings with several levels of stucco molding. The walls are decorated by English wallpapers and wooden panels painted in a noble grey and green tone with delicate gold-plating of panels and friezes of built-in library and sideboard. The textile in golden and tile-red tones in the tapestry and in the decoration of windows adds splendor to interiors. Olga offers the services of an interior designer in Moscow and does her best to achieve the ideal result comfortable for the apartments’ owners.
A traditional English kitchen with the Smallbon pilasters continues the theme of the drawing room and the dining room. In the private zone of the master bedroom, a tender yellow and green scheme with vibrant pink accents predominates. A bed with a small baldachin is isolated from a bay window and entrance by two apertures. The bay window contains a soft leisure zone. You can enter an airy dressing room and a bathroom immediately from the bedroom. The entire bathroom is made of several types of marble. The design of a child room enables to change the furniture without changing the planning and furnishing of the room. You can always replace a child bed and a small table for plays by a teenager bed and a schoolchild working table. Everything is thoroughly thought-out – this is a distinctive feature of Olga Kushnareva-Leone who provides the services of an interior designer (Moscow).
The walls of a study are completely sewn up by hazel panels and libraries. There is an impressive working table in the center, which may be useful for both a host and a schoolchild doing his home assignment in a serious atmosphere of the study. To make a laundry combined with a guest sanitary unit more elegant, the walls decorated by white glazed ceramic tiles in half of their height were painted by the bouquets of black-and-white roses to match the black-and-white floor.
